Alexander Simmons is CEO and Managing Director of Inerva Software, a provider of business-critical cloud software to the Australian aged care industry. In 2021, he acquired Inerva after raising the first traditional search fund in Australia, marking a milestone for the country’s entrepreneurship-through-acquisition ecosystem.

Under Alex’s leadership, Inerva has transitioned from legacy on-premises systems to a modern cloud-based platform and grown recurring revenue more than four-fold, supporting aged care, home care, and retirement living providers through a period of significant regulatory and operational change.

Previously, Alex worked in management consulting in Sydney and private equity in London. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from the University of Oxford.
